Note from the underground: Psychedelic Sight revolves around two works in progress: A list of the 100 greatest psychedelic songs (this page) and one of the top 50 psychedelic albums.
So where are the other songs? True to the spirit, the list will be filled in randomly — whenever the muse turns up.
Click on the titles to read an in-depth appreciation of each song and learn why it has been immortalized in the Psychedelic Sight Top 100.

I think “Look at me Í´m you” from the Blossom Toes (1967), it has more than enough merits to be among the top 100

I must still be in that ’67 time warp. When I spotted that bidet ad on the right my first thought was “who’s gonna be the flusher tonight?” You know, I kinda miss that outlaw feeling that came with every light-up back then. By the way, my birthday’s coming up again – 420. Please keep this site open till I die.
Rick
A few lesser known, Psychotic Reaction, Count 5, Hot Smoke & Sassafrass, Bubble Puppy & You I, The Rugbys
Christian
I think the “I had too much to Dream” (last night) by the Electric Prunes from 1966 definitely belongs in the list. As did Pink Floyd’s “See Emily Play” in 1967.
J.R. Asche
Christian You know what acid was all about. That song still sounds otherworldly today. FIRE by Arthur Brown may be #2 and White Rabbit 3 one the pop side.
Sam
Great insights! I wish the list were updated more often though…

I agree, I Had To Much To Dream Last Night, by The Electric Prunes should make the list, along with The White Ship, by HP Lovecraft, and The Fool, by Quicksilver Messenger Service. Thank you for your consideration, love and peace from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Stephen-Paul Martin
How can the list not include “Mind Flowers” by Ultimate Spinach, “Legend of a Mind” and “Higher and Higher” by The Moody Blues, “A Song for Me” by Family, “Whaling Stories” and “In Held ‘Twas in I” by Procol Harum,” and “Echoes” by Pink Floyd?
