Roll out for the mystery tour: The readers of Psychedelic Sight are serving up some of their favorite songs again, on a scroll.
The latest readers choice list ranges from the usual suspects — Pink Floyd, the 13th Floor Elevators, Love — to the unexpected — the Church, Opal and MC5.
Check out the songs:

The readers choice lists of psychedelic songs and albums are designed to bring other voices to PsychSight’s main lists of top songs and albums. So much good stuff. Do give the Spotify a spin as this batch is surprisingly cohesive and transportive.
There are now more than 100 songs (and 100 albums) on the readers lists.
Thanks to all of the readers who participated. You can too … just click the nominations link on PsychSight’s lists of the top psychedelic albums and top psychedelic songs.
Fine print: If you’ve nominated a selection and it seems lost in the ozone, it may be because the song already is listed. If the song appears somewhere on the six pages of the readers’ lists, then consider your nom another vote for that title. If the song already is on the PsychSight list of 100 great psychedelic songs, then, hey, at least we’re in sync. And some MIA nominations are good to go, they’re simply awaiting the next list.

I recommend the bands from Austin Psych Fest (now called Levitation). Christian Bland and the Revelators and Wooden Shipps have a great sound.

Great list! Awesome to see United States of America on there — a *very* overlooked group.
